GSP vs Koscheck 2 Fight Preview:
This has got to be the fight of the year, and I’m not over exaggerating. During the Ultimate Fighter reality show, GSP has once again shown how classy guy he is. Although he could have, he hasn’t responded to a single provocation made by Josh Koscheck. I can’t see this fight going anywhere else than him dominating Josh. GSP is one grade higher than Josh Koscheck.
The only way Koscheck could possibly win is by a lucky strike landing on GSPs head. There is no way he is a better grappler, stand up fighter, ground and pounder, nor jiu jitsu martial artist. GSP is just way better in all of the game aspects. We should never count out any fighter
though, because we all know that MMA is one of the most unpredictable sports on this planet. One well landed punch can turn around the whole game, and this is where Koscheck should look for his chances.
GSP vs Koscheck 2 Full Fight Review
Well, to be honest, I expected more from Josh Koscheck in this fight. The fight video trailer was full of promises, promising us a better, deadly Koscheck. To me, after this fight, he’s still the same fighter as he was before. The whole GSP vs Koscheck 2 fight can be summarized in a few sentences: basically, GSP simply neutralized Koscheck by introducing a very underrated jab punch into an MMA game. This was spectacular. I mean, he closed his eye in only a few minutes of the fight. Koscheck managed to get a take down, but it simply wasn’t as effective. Not to mention that GSP had a few takedowns himself too.
I don’t know how many people will start to grumble on how GSP is a boring fighter, but yes, he hasn’t managed to finish this one either. I wouldn’t blame him though, he’s fighting against the most competent fighters in the world currently; it’s not as easy as it seems on TV. This wasn’t as spectacular fight as I wanted it to be, but Georges St-Pierre still remains the UFC welter weight champion of the world.
Make sure you post your own comments on the GSP vs Koscheck 2. I’d like to know what are your thoughts on this, and I’d also like to know if GSP is really a best p4p fighter in the world or does Anderson Sliva take that title. I don’t get how not finishing guys make GSP boring. I mean i’ll give you Hardy and Alves, those fights were kind of bland but Hardy and Alves were both great strikes, GSP would of been a damn fool to just go out there like an idiot and just throw bombs like he’s freakin’ Leonard Garcia. And he put on a striking clinic on Kos. He didn’t put him away but still, to me the Koscheck beatdown was entertaining.
All fighters eventually have some bad fights. Forrest freaking Griffin had a bland fight against Rich, Bones vs. Bader was boring, Shit even Bones vs. Shogun was nothing special from an entertainment standpoint.
Yeah, I agree… come to think of it, he really is an attractive fighter, even though if he doesn’t finish his opponents.
