This fight predictions isn’t going to be as long, but I’ll definitely try to predict it as precisely as I can.
Stand up: Stand up aspect is going to be the definitive one in this fight. Both of these fighters are great on feet, and both of them win their fights on feet for majority of time. I will give the advantage to Frankie Edgar here though. Frankie has one of the best boxing techniques in the lightweight division, and to top it off, Ben Henderson sometimes engages in clashes with his hands down. This will be the chance for Frankie Edgar to knock him out very fast.
Ben Henderson is a great striker also, but Frankie simply has the advantage here.
Grappling: Grappling goes to Henderson because of the fact that he is very tall for a lightweight. He is also physically stronger than Edgar, so he might manipulate this fight by taking it where ever he wants to. Ben Henderson should definitely not allow Frankie Edgar to keep the distance on feet in this fight. I can’t wait for the Edgar vs Henderson fight video to be released.
Ground game: Well, neither of these guys are submission experts by any stretch of imagination. The only way this fight will end up on the floor is if any one of them gasses out. However, this will definitely not happen since both Frankie and Edgar are known for their very good cardio.
Conclusion: In my opinion, Frankie is just a more complete fighter than Ben Henderson. The only way I see Henderson winning this fight is by scoring a lucky punch in the first round. Edgar has better cardio, better boxing and better wrestling (although Henderson is a stronger fighter).

Frankie Edgar is very strong on feet, but I think that Henderson will crush him in the first round.If the fight goes to the ground, the advantage goes to edgar, but I think that the physique of Henderson (he’s stronger) might prevail on the ground too.All in all, someone will have to explain to me how Frankie can possibly win this fight?
